Job summary

Carmel Manor is seeking a part-time Community Liaison to bridge the organization with the local community, sharing information and building trust. The role runs 8am–4pm, 3–4 days a week, with potential to transition to full-time, and includes a range of benefits and competitive compensation.

The liaison will represent the organization at public meetings, coordinate outreach events, and monitor community feedback to guide programs. English proficiency and PR or outreach experience are required.

Community Liaison

Come join us at Carmel Manor! We are a Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm for over 70 years. Our mission is to treat all staff and residents with love and respect.

We are seeking to hire a Community Liaison Part-Time.

• 8am to 4pm., 3-4 days per week, with the possibility of transitioning to Full-time

The Community Liaison acts as a bridge between the organization and the public. They build trust, share information and manage relationships to promote programs.

Community Liaison Qualifications:

• Strength in marketing, advertising principles, and community outreach.
• Event planning, both large- and small-scale experience needed
• Great verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to talk to diverse groups of people.
• Good problem-solving and conflict resolution habits.
• Experience in public relations, marketing, social work or community outreach needed
• English language required.
