Job summary

Berea College, in partnership with the Brushy Fork Leadership Institute, seeks a Program Coordinator to design and deliver leadership development programs across Central Appalachia and beyond. The role requires skilled facilitation, collaboration with communities and partners, and the ability to produce clear plans and reports.

The coordinator will help design curriculum, conduct evaluations, and manage program outputs, while maintaining neutrality in group settings and building strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in training, leadership, community or economic development required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• At least three years of leadership program design and facilitation experience.
• Experience with evaluating programs and reporting to stakeholders.
• Ability to travel frequently and adapt to diverse settings.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine Brushy Fork leadership programs and related deliverables.
• Facilitate workshops and deliver training for diverse groups and communities.
• Evaluate programs, develop tools, and produce written reports for the Senior Executive Director.
• Coordinate activities with Berea College staff and community partners.
• Travel as needed, including evenings and weekends to support program activities.
