SCHOOL VOLUNTEER - COMMUNITY COACH

Qualifications

• Must be a community member that possesses advanced knowledge of a certain sport or program based on previous participation or advanced coaching experience.

The Paulding County School District reserves the right to accept alternatives to some of the above requirements

Responsibilities

• Ability to support the Head Coach of the program
• Ability to be an active member of the Athletic Staff
• Build Teamwork/Leadership capacity in student athletes
• Comply with GHSA rules and regulations
• Ability to assist in the functioning of a successful program
• Provide instruction; assess and encourage student progress; manage the learning environment; comply with state and system level regulations and policies; comply with the rules of the Professional Standards and Commission code of ethics for educators; other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or immediate supervisor.
