SCHOOL VOLUNTEER - COMMUNITYCOACH

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a community member that possesses advanced knowledge of a certain sport or program based on previous participation or advanced coaching experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to support the Head Coach of the program
• Ability tobe an active member of theAthletic Staff
• Build Teamwork/Leadership capacity in student athletes
• Comply with GHSA rules and regulations
• Ability toassist in the functioning of asuccessful program
• Provide instruction; assess and encourage student progress; manage the learning environment; comply with: state and system level regulations and policies; comply with the rules of the Professional Standards and Commission code of ethics for educators; other duties as assigned by theHead Coachor immediate supervisor.
