Job summary

Aids Services Of Dallas seeks a Cook who prepares nutritious breakfasts and lunches for residents on a Monday–Friday schedule. You will work with our team to meet dietary needs while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen. The role supports collaboration with case management to tailor meals to individual residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years cooking in institutional, commercial, or similar kitchen.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve healthy breakfasts and lunches for residents each weekday.
• Follow special dietary requirements for medically compromised residents.
• Assist with weekly menu planning.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization (equipment, pantry, utensils).
• Create and manage food and supply lists.
• Follow Texas food service sanitation regulations.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives.
