Job summary

Sunshine Communities is seeking a Community Food Technician to prepare high-quality meals for individuals across Family Care and Supported Living Homes. You will follow menus, recipes, and production sheets while accommodating dietary orders and preferences.

Your role involves grocery shopping within budgets, maintaining clean kitchen spaces, and working closely with home staff and dietary managers to ensure safe, balanced meals are served on time.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and auto insurance.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Pass criminal background, drug screen and physical.
• One year preferred education in cooking.
• One year culinary/health care cooking/dietary meal prep experience.

Responsibilities

• Cooks food by following menu, recipes and production sheets with appropriate alternatives.
• Prepares foods and beverages per individual preferences and diet orders.
• Follow therapeutic diets as prescribed by physician or dietitian.
• Shop for groceries based on menus and home budgets.
• Collaborate with home staff, manager and dietary manager to provide quality meals.
