Community Inclusion Specialist – Progressive Art Studio Program

Description / Job Summary: Center for Creative Works (CCW), a Progressive Art Studio program, seeks full‑time Inclusion Specialists (CIS) who work with adult artists with developmental disabilities in Wynnewood, PA, and Philadelphia. The CIS facilitates daily outings designed to promote community integration, build cultural identity, and connect participants with relevant opportunities.

The role requires driving CCW vehicles, planning community outings with 1–3 participants, assisting with medication administration and daily living activities, implementing Individual Support Plans, keeping financial records for outings, completing required paperwork, and providing basic first aid when needed.

Essential Duties and Functions
  • Escort, supervise and oversee groups of up to three participants into the community on a daily basis to take part in activities and/or events.
  • Meet the basic needs of participants while in the community, including medication administration and assistance with other Activities of Daily Living as required.
  • Implement Individual Support Plans and behavior plans as needed.
  • Maintain sufficient knowledge of participants’ ISPs and personal needs to work with them effectively.
  • Provide input for the creation of monthly budgets for outings and maintain tracking of receipts and expenditures for reconciliation.
  • Complete all required paperwork, including daily service notes.
  • Drive CCW vehicles.
  • Attend to basic first aid when needed.
Qualifications

Salary
