Job summary

The City of Delray Beach is seeking a complex and responsible clerical support professional to assist Code Enforcement, Neighborhood Services, and Sanitation divisions. You will process documentation, respond to public inquiries, and support income eligibility determinations for housing programs.

Under general supervision, you will prepare forms, reports, and correspondence, maintain records, and ensure accurate data entry.

Qualifications

• High School graduation or equivalent diploma.
• Two years of related secretarial/clerical experience with data entry.
• Ability to operate a PC and keyboard with speed and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide customer service.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex administrative tasks in code enforcement, neighborhood services and sanitation divisions.
• Prepares forms, reports and correspondence; maintains files and scans documents.
• Provides exceptional customer service and accurate information to internal and external customers.
