Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Kansas City is seeking an Intern to work with our teams across departments to support the business strategy. This position provides hands-on experience with filing, data entry, documentation and PowerPoint presentations, handling general inquiries, and participating in continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field required.
• Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
• Actively involved in campus, community or other volunteer activities or organizations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Self-motivated and eager learner, aptitude to grow and develop within the field.
• Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Involvement on campus or in the community preferred.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country where this position is located.
