Job summary

Health Partners of Western Ohio is seeking an energetic Dentist for our School Based Dental Outreach program based in Lima, Ohio. The role involves providing primary dental care within an integrated health model and traveling to nearby communities to reach students.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited dental degree, Ohio license, CPR/BLS certification, and a commitment to patient education and public health principles.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited dental school; license to practice in Ohio.
• Completion of in-house training; CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to maintain clinical privileges and work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose dental conditions and provide or direct treatment per protocols.
• Maintain accurate dental records and referrals as needed.
• Educate patients on oral health and disease prevention.
• Supervise dental residents or students when required.
• Participate in quality improvement programs and staff training.
• Travel to Lima, Kenton, and New Carlisle locations as needed.
