Job summary

Health Partners of Western Ohio is seeking a Dental Director to oversee primary and preventive dental care across community health centers, supervise dental staff, and advise the CEO on clinical matters.

Qualified candidates will have a dental degree, Ohio license, CPR-BLS, Ohio DEA registration, and at least five years of clinical leadership experience. The role features a full-time schedule and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited dental school is required.
• Completion of an accredited general practice residency program is preferred.
• Current Ohio DEA registration
• Current Ohio Dental license
• CPR-BLS (Basic Life support) required

Responsibilities

• Leads dental team in examination and treatment following approved protocols.
• Documents patient-dentist transactions accurately for the dental chart.
• Educates the dental team on oral health promotion and disease prevention.
• Supervises school-based dental sealant program.
• Collaborates with COO/Center Directors to ensure effective dental support.
