Job summary

Health Partners of Western Ohio is seeking a Dentist to provide preventive and primary dental care in a community health center setting in Toledo. You will educate patients on oral health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and serve diverse populations.

Responsibilities include exams, treatment planning, documentation, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. Light travel to other sites may be required; strong clinical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited dental school is required.
• Successful completion of in-house training.
• Maintain appropriate clinical privileges in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Examine individuals requesting care and diagnose dental/oral conditions; prescribe or direct treatment per guidelines.
• Record patient-dentist transactions in the dental record; complete referrals and required paperwork.
• Educate individuals on oral health and disease prevention.
• Supervise dental residents and dental students as needed.
• Participate in the Dental Quality Improvement Program and other committees.
• Travel as needed to support HPWO; represent HPWO at meetings.
