Job summary

Financial Plus Credit Union is seeking a Community Impact Specialist to advance our mission through meaningful community involvement, partnerships, and outreach coordination. You will work with the Community Impact Manager, Business Development, and branch leaders across markets, with a focus on Northern regions (Saginaw and Bay Counties).

You will strengthen visibility, reputation, and community relationships while supporting growth initiatives in existing and emerging markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Business, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years in community relations, event coordination, marketing, nonprofit engagement, or related field.
• Experience with community organizations, volunteers, or public events preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent Financial Plus Credit Union at community events, sponsorship activations, volunteer opportunities, and nonprofit initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, partners, chambers, and local stakeholders.
• Coordinate community outreach activities to strengthen brand awareness and community trust.
• Partner with branch teams to support local community outreach efforts and relationship-building activities.
