Job summary

St. Joseph Center is seeking a Community Impact Coordinator for the Care Campus in Los Angeles.

The role focuses on building trusted relationships with Skid Row residents, local organizations, and public agencies to promote collaboration and shared outcomes. You will engage diverse stakeholders, coordinate with law enforcement and government partners, and support trauma-informed, community-centered initiatives.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in community engagement/outreach or related roles.
• Experience building diverse community relationships.
• Experience with homelessness or Skid Row/Downtown LA preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain authentic relationships with Skid Row residents and community partners.
• Maintain a regular presence in the Skid Row community and attend local meetings and events.
• Serve as a liaison for community engagement with public agencies and stakeholders.
• Proactively engage stakeholders to understand priorities, concerns, and opportunities.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and public safety partners as needed.
• Track requests, commitments, and follow up from meetings.
