Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Store Leader in Summerville, SC to drive community outreach, customer service excellence, and store financial performance. You will supervise hourly associates, mentor teams, and ensure policy compliance while delivering strong results.

Responsibilities include relation-building with local organizations, implementing safety and asset protection measures, and promoting a culture of belonging and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Preferred Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership and prior supervisory experience supervising 5+ direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, directs and participates in community outreach programs, building relationships with external organizations and promoting company initiatives.
• Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service using the One Best Way (OBW) standard and resolves customer issues.
• Assists store management in driving financial performance and controlling expenses to support sales goals.
• Coordinates activities with key stakeholders, supports plans to meet customer and business needs and measures progress.
• Provides supervision, development, and recognition for hourly associates, fostering a sense of belonging and teamwork.
• Promotes a culture of integrity, ethics, and compliance through Open Door Policy and respectful leadership.
