Job summary

Kohler Credit Union in Sheboygan, WI seeks a Community Impact Manager to lead engagement efforts, expand partnerships, and strengthen connections with members and communities. You will oversee sponsorships, charitable giving, and employee volunteer programs, while collaborating with Marketing to amplify impact.

This role requires strategic planning, strong relationship-building, and budget management to drive meaningful community outcomes and align with our mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in related field.
• 6+ years in community development/engagement with at least 2 years of leadership.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and networking skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Experience forging strategic partnerships and coordinating programs.
• Knowledge of credit union operations or financial literacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead community engagement efforts and develop strategic partnerships to connect Kohler Credit Union, members, and communities.
• Oversee sponsorships, charitable giving, and employee volunteer programs while partnering with Marketing to maximize impact.
• Manage the Community Impact budget, track engagement and outcomes, and identify opportunities to expand reach.

A Day in the Life of a Community Impact Manager

As the Community Impact Manager, you’ll balance strategic planning, relationship building, and community engagement to strengthen Kohler Credit Union’s presence in the communities we serve. Your day may include connecting with nonprofit organizations, schools, businesses, and community leaders, while working alongside your team to bring community initiatives to life.

You’ll oversee sponsorships, charitable giving, and employee volunteer programs while partnering with Marketing to strengthen our brand and maximize the impact of our community partnerships. You’ll also manage the Community Impact budget, track engagement and outcomes, and identify opportunities to expand our reach and make a meaningful difference.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field required.
• 6+ years of experience in community development, community engagement, nonprofit partnerships, or a related field, including at least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Strong relationship‑building, communication, and networking skills, with the ability to connect with a variety of community partners and stakeholders.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, prioritize responsibilities, and deliver results.
• Experience developing strategic partnerships, leading community engagement initiatives, and coordinating programs that support organizational goals.
• Knowledge of credit union operations, financial literacy programs, or community advocacy preferred.
