Job summary

Cardinal Services, Inc. of Indiana in Knox, Indiana is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with disabilities in daily living, community activities, and skill development.

You will document progress and support individuals toward personal goals in various settings. The role offers part-time hours with an hourly rate of $17.52–$19.38 (includes a $1.86 weekend shift differential) and requires a valid driver’s license for transportation and community activities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Ability to safely transport individuals and work in a Human Services setting with favorable background screens.
• Flexible and traditional work schedules available for full or part-time positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living skills such as budgeting, cooking, and personal hygiene.
• Support individuals in participating in activities at home and within the community.
• Implement and document program plans as directed by the Residential or Community Living Manager.
