Job summary

Qualifications

• Lead development and implementation of educational programming aligned with K-State five critical issues.
• Collaborate with local partners, volunteers, and stakeholders to strengthen community programming.
• Recruit and manage volunteers and develop youth development (4-H) programs.
• Develop budgets and manage financial reporting, audits, and compliance.
• Provide research-based educational programming in family and consumer sciences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with local unit staff, board members, and others to develop comprehensive programming.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with county commissioners and other key decision-makers.
• Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of research-based educational programming.
• Engage extension specialists, volunteers, and community partners to strengthen community capacity.
• Implement 4-H youth development programs for school-aged youth in cooperation with local community members.
