About the Role

Our client, a respected charity organization dedicated to youth development in Welkom, Free State , is looking for a driven and empathetic Community Impact Coordinator. This role is essential for driving positive change within the community by coordinating and implementing programs that benefit local youth. The successful candidate will work closely with community members, local schools, and other stakeholders to identify needs and deliver impactful solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation of youth development programs and initiatives in Welkom, Free State .


• Engage directly with community members, schools, and local organizations to assess needs and build partnerships.


• Organize and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and recreational activities for young people.


• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers involved in program delivery.


• Monitor program progress and collect data to evaluate impact and identify areas for improvement.

• Ensure the safe and effective operation of all program activities.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Social Work, Community Development, Youth Work, or a related field.


• Proven experience working with youth and in community-based programs.


• Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing youth in South Africa .


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.


• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.


• Passion for youth empowerment and community development.


• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Experience in event planning and volunteer management is a plus.
