Placements24 is seeking a proactive Community Engagement Coordinator for a remote role with a non-profit serving the Northern Cape community. You will build relationships with local leaders, identify needs, and help implement programs that improve well-being and sustainable development.

You will design and execute engagement strategies, facilitate meetings, gather feedback, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure community perspectives shape initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in community development, outreach, engagement, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Community Development, or Public Administration.

About the Role

Our client, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering sustainable development and community well-being in the Northern Cape, is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Community Engagement Coordinator . This role is fully remote, allowing you to connect with and support communities across the region from your home office. You will be instrumental in building strong relationships with community members, local leaders, and stakeholders, identifying needs, and facilitating the implementation of impactful programs. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication and networking skills, a deep understanding of community dynamics, and a passion for driving positive social change. You will be responsible for designing and executing engagement strategies that foster participation, build trust, and ensure our client's initiatives are responsive to local priorities. This is a key role in amplifying our client's reach and impact through collaborative community partnerships.
