Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in commercial lending.
• Sales experience: managing relationships and developing new business.
• Knowledge of real estate lending, documentation, collateralization, UCC-1, lien perfection and Deeds of Trust.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, underwriting, and lending regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and retain commercial business in assigned region with varied client sizes.
• Make business calls independently and with internal partners to offer banking products.
• Schedule meetings with customers and prospects; attend business events.
• Receive loan applications and related documentation.
• Conduct preliminary credit analysis and review financial statements.
• Prepare loan proposals and negotiate terms including collateral.
• Maintain interest rate structures aligned with bank policy and market rates.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting criteria, approvals, and LTV requirements.
• Monitor construction draws and collect financial documentation from clients.
• Track loan status and follow up on outstanding items.
• Communicate credit decisions to prospects and borrowers.
• Support collection efforts to minimize past-due accounts.
