Job summary

Wilson Bank & Trust is seeking a Commercial Lender II to develop and retain commercial business in the designated region. You’ll meet with prospects and customers and offer a range of banking products and services to grow client relationships.

In this role you’ll perform preliminary credit analysis, prepare loan proposals, monitor drawings, and coordinate with internal partners to deliver timely solutions while maintaining our standards of integrity and service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in commercial lending.
• Knowledge of real estate lending, documentation, collateralization, and Deeds of Trust.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, loan underwriting, and lending regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and retain commercial business in the designated region.
• Make business calls independently and with internal partners.
• Schedule meetings with customers and prospects and attend events.
• Receive loan applications and related documentation.
• Conduct preliminary credit analysis and prepare loan proposals.
• Monitor loan status and ensure documentation and compliance.
