Alternatives, Inc. in Somerset, NJ is looking for a full-time Assistant Group Home Manager to support adults with developmental disabilities. The position offers a competitive wage of $22.50/hr with supplemental pay on weekends.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, implement behavioral plans, and manage group home operations. Ideal candidates are compassionate, have good communication skills, and a strong desire to make a difference.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in a group setting is strongly preferred.
• Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks and a drug screen.
• Ability to pass and maintain required trainings such as CPR/first aid and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with developmental disabilities with activities of daily living.
• Implement individual behavioral plans and teach new skills.
• Assist with staff scheduling and operations of the group home.
