Job summary

Sunstone is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces across the community. You will prepare vacant apartments and assist with make-ready tasks, contributing to a positive experience for residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members across the community.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred but not required - we're happy to train the right person.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying cleaning equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all community common areas, including the leasing office, restrooms, model apartments, amenities, and vacant apartment homes.
• Ensure vacant apartments are clean, fresh, and always ready to welcome prospective residents.
• Assist with apartment make-ready preparations and other housekeeping tasks as directed by the Property Manager.
• Monitor the community for maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or conditions that could impact residents, visitors, or team members, and report them promptly.
• Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
• Help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment that residents are proud to call home.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
