Renaissance Community Loan Fund Inc (RCLF) seeks a Community Mortgage Lender to develop and originate residential loans, focusing on expanding homeownership for low-to-moderate income borrowers. You will engage with community partners and lead outreach to generate opportunities.

The role requires knowledge of mortgage products, government programs, and down-payment assistance, plus NMLS education and licensing for MS and AL. Hybrid work supports community outreach outside regular hours.

Competenze

• Mortgage lending or related experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential mortgage products and origination process.
• Knowledge of affordable housing, down-payment assistance programs preferred.
• Ability to develop relationships through community outreach.
• Must complete required NMLS education & testing and obtain licenses for MS and AL.

Mansioni

• Develop and implement community-focused mortgage lending strategies in assigned markets.
• Promote homeownership opportunities to low-to-moderate income borrowers and communities.
• Build relationships with community organizations, housing agencies, Realtors, builders, nonprofits and referral partners.
• Attend outreach events and mortgage presentations within the community.
• Consult with borrowers to evaluate mortgage needs, prequalify, and recommend loan products.
• Guide borrowers through the mortgage process from application to closing with high service levels.
• Work with mortgage operations, processing, underwriting and closing teams to ensure timely closings.
• Maintain documentation and comply with federal/state mortgage regulations and HMDA.
