Job summary

RCLF is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator in Alabama to assist borrowers through the full loan cycle from prequalification to closing. You will analyze income/assets, verify documentation, and communicate decisions and rates to applicants while coordinating with investors and processors.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in mortgage origination, proficiency with Calyx Point, and an active MS/AL NMLS license with good standing. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years in field of mortgage loan origination is required.
• Proficient experience using Calyx Point Loan Software
• High School Diploma required; States of Mississippi and Alabama Mortgage Loan Originator License through NMLS in good standing
• Strong written and oral communication skills and analytical skills
• Extensive knowledge of processing, underwriting and closing and post-closing requirements per mortgage regulations

Responsibilities

• Prequalify borrowers by analyzing income and asset information and credit profile.
• Inform applicants of credit decisions, rates, terms and affordability.
• Analyze initial documents and organize files for processing and underwriting.
• Coordinate with secondary market Investors to meet program guidelines.
• Assist with down payment assistance documentation and funding.
