Job summary

About CHCRR is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide professional nursing care in our Rutland-area office. The role follows established policies and procedures to support primary care services.

You will administer medications, perform select lab tests, record vital signs, and maintain patient confidentiality while coordinating with physicians. A Vermont RN license is required, with at least one year of office-based nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Maintains Vermont State RN license.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred, preferably in an office setting.
• Documentation and patient education expertise are expected.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Performs certain lab tests.
• Takes and records patients' vital signs and immunization status.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.
• Cleans and autoclaves procedural equipment and instruments.
• Observes patient condition and reports to physician on status and drug reactions.
• Oversees appointment scheduling and prioritizes emergencies.
