Job summary
Community Health Center of Buffalo (CHCB) is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver nursing care under supervision, collaborate with medical providers, and support ambulatory services for our community.
The role involves directing licensed staff, triage, case management, and patient education in a team-centered environment. Evening shifts may be required; competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered for full and part-time staff.
Qualifications
- NY licensed Registered Nurse required.
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- Minimum 1 year of ambulatory care experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Computer literacy.
- Experience with an Electronic Medical Records System preferred.
Responsibilities
- Direct Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Assistants.
- Triage patient calls and visits.
- Provide case management and nurse-only visits.
- Assist providers with exams and procedures.
- Administer medications as directed.
- Review lab results and report abnormalities.
- Maintain patient records and documentation.
- Demonstrate effective communication with patients and staff.
