Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is helping a community health center in the Greater Sacramento area fill a full-time Physician Assistant position focused on comprehensive primary care for diverse, underserved populations. The role requires CA PA licensure, NCCPA, DEA, and BLS with 1–2 years of community health experience preferred.

Fluent in English; bilingual skills in Spanish or other languages strongly valued. Monday–Friday schedule, with option for 4x10s; competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Active California PA license and NCCPA certification.
• Current DEA and BLS certifications.
• 1–2 years clinical experience in community health preferred; bilingual skills valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations including history and physical exams.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with Medical Director.
• Monitor progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Initiate emergency procedures when indicated.
• Provide preventive care and health education.
• Maintain accurate documentation per standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams for coordinated care.
