Job summary

Firsthand is hiring a Manager, Community Operations to oversee market-level community-based staff, ensuring outreach, engagement, benefits navigation, and clinical review are executed with trust and care. The role is supervisory, involves hiring, and requires comfort working in community settings and with non-traditional environments.

The team collaborates with clinicians, operations, and support staff to drive integrated care and improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in a healthcare-focused business, leading community-based teams.
• Minimum of three years in direct supervisory roles (managing peer recovery specialists or similar staff).
• Experience in multidisciplinary settings delivering holistic care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate community teams of peers, social workers, and clinicians aligned with firsthand’s mission.
• Supervise community team members and oversee performance to OKRs.
• Ensure execution of operational and strategic plans as the business evolves.
• Collaborate with Senior Director, Operations to expand local presence and referral networks.
• Recruit and coach community-based staff with People and Learning & Development teams.
