Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide hands-on care in a community-focused Albuquerque setting. You will work with providers to deliver timely, respectful health services and support patient-centered care in a mission-driven environment.

The role includes preparing patients, recording vital signs, assisting with exams, administering vaccines, handling specimens, and maintaining clean exam spaces. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations, record vital signs, and document medical history.
• Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Administer medications and vaccinations under provider supervision.
• Collect and process laboratory specimens, perform basic tests, and maintain accurate records.
• Support patient education by providing instructions and health information.
• Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies in a clean and organized manner.
• Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Handle patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide administrative support as needed, including updating records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
