Qualifications

• Minimum education: LPN or RN program completed.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current Virginia Nursing License and CPR/AED certification required (obtain within 90 days if not certified at hire).

Responsibilities

• Participate in health screenings at the hospital or in the community.
• Assist with setting up rooms for health fairs and screenings.
• Operate screening equipment during events (cholesterol, blood sugars, BP, BMI, bone density).
• Administer influenza vaccines at community and corporate events (emergency procedures like Epipen awareness).
• Maintain infection control and proper disposal of hazardous waste; clean equipment after each use.
