Job summary

Mission Neighborhood Health Center in San Francisco seeks a Dentist to join our team under the supervision of the Dental Director. The position is full-time and exempt, offering a starting salary range and full benefits for dedicated patient care.

The dentist will provide routine and emergency dental services, including diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, endodontics, crowns, bridges, removable prosthetics, and minor oral surgery while upholding high standards of quality and

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Valid license to practice dentistry in California.
• Demonstrated expertise in relevant dental practices, protocol, trends and best practices in clinical areas assigned.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and emergency situations successfully.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and emergency dental services, including diagnosis and treatment plans, general restorative procedures, crown and bridge construction, removable prosthetics, uncomplicated endodontics and minor oral surgery.
• Initiate and interpret x-ray and lab studies.
• Administer and prescribe anesthetics and medications.
• Refer patients for specialty care to other clinic programs or outside agencies when appropriate.
• Supervise Dental Assistant and Dental Hygienist as needed.
