Job summary

Primary Health Solutions is seeking a General Dentist in a full-time, non-exempt setting within a community health center. The Staff Dentist supervises dental assistants and hygienists when the Dental Director is unavailable and oversees clinical dental services and preventive care.

The position reports to the Director of Dental Services and requires graduation from an accredited dental school with potential residency preference. Ohio license notes may apply to NHSC/PHS roles.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited general practice residency program is preferred.
• Knowledge of public health principles and practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examines individuals and diagnoses dental/oral conditions and prescribes or directs treatment.
• Maintains patient dental records and completes referrals and required paperwork.
• Educates individuals on oral health and prevention.

Education

Graduation from an accredited dental school

General practice residency preferred

Knowledge of public health principles and practices preferred
