Job summary

Mission Neighborhood Health Center in San Francisco is seeking a Dentist to provide routine and emergency dental services. The role reports to the Dental Director and includes diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, crown and bridge work, prosthetics, endodontics, and minor oral surgery.

The ideal candidate holds a DDS/DMD with a California license, demonstrates strong patient communication, and can supervise a Dental Assistant and Hygienist. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution.
• California license to practice dentistry in California.
• Familiarity with JCAHO accreditation processes and healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and emergency dental services including diagnosis, treatment plans and restorative procedures.
• Initiate and interpret x‑ray studies and lab results.
• Administer and prescribe anesthetics and medications.
• Supervise Dental Assistant and Dental Hygienist as needed.
• Conduct follow‑up patient care and educate patients and families.
• Build relationships and maintain high level customer service.
