Adelante Healthcare Goodyear is seeking an experienced Community Health Administrative Medical Assistant to support the Community Health Supervisor and assist patients and families through the healthcare system as a patient advocate. You will join community events, help close care gaps, enter data in the EHR and practice management systems, and provide medical assisting support as needed at events.

• Certification to perform CPR and AED per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.
• Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona DPS.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from an approved medical assistant program with 1+ year experience.
• 3+ years experience as a medical assistant.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Proficient math skills for healthcare settings.
• Basic computer proficiency: Windows, MS Office, internet.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a high-stress environment.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients and families as a Patient Advocate.
• Participate in community health screenings and assist setup/teardown.
• Provide Medical Assistance support at events as needed.
• Enter patient demographics into practice management system.
• Enter and manage data in the EHR.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Communicate professionally with patients and care team.
• Follow medication handling policies and universal safety protocols.
