Job description

REDNOTE is one of the world's leading lifestyle and culture platforms, with over 400 million people sharing how they actually live, travel, create, and discover. In a world of infinite content, what makes RedNote different is its foundation in real human experiences, honestly lived and generously shared.

As we expand globally, we're building a new product from the ground up — an artist community designed to bring artists together, celebrate creative expression, and foster meaningful connections around the practice of art.

About the Role

We're looking for a Community Growth Manager to build and grow the community for this new product from 0 to 1. As a key member of our Global Brand & Community team, you'll play an important role in bringing artists and creative communities onto the platform, fostering authentic connections, and turning early community engagement into sustainable user growth.

In the initial launch phase, you'll focus on building a presence within U.S. college communities, particularly at art and design schools, through campus ambassadors, partnerships, and creative activations.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on, entrepreneurial community builder to contribute to the product's early growth, experiment with different approaches to community building, and develop scalable ways to attract, engage, and retain users.

Responsibilities
  • Build and grow an engaged artist community by identifying and connecting with emerging artists, creative individuals, and community leaders.
  • Develop and manage a campus ambassador program, building relationships with student organizations, campus clubs, and creative communities, particularly at art and design schools.
  • Plan and execute community initiatives, campus events, partnerships, and creative activations to drive brand awareness, user acquisition, and engagement.
  • Explore and test new channels and approaches to reach artists and niche creative communities, turning grassroots engagement into sustainable user growth.
  • Track key growth metrics, analyze community feedback and program performance, and continuously optimize initiatives to improve acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Qualifications
  • Experience building or growing communities, campus ambassador programs, user acquisition initiatives, or community-led growth programs, ideally in an early-stage environment.
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. college ecosystem, with established relationships across student organizations, campus clubs, student leaders, or creative communities.
  • Experience in consumer technology, social platforms, lifestyle brands, creator-focused products, community building, or growth marketing.
  • Proven ability to develop partnerships and independently manage projects involving community members, ambassadors, or external partners.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and project management skills, with a growth mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment and excited about building something from 0 to 1.
