Job summary

Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community is seeking a senior administrator to manage daily operations and advise department directors. The role ensures compliance with statutes and policies while aligning programs with community goals.

Strong leadership and budgeting skills are essential. The position requires a Bachelor's, 10 years of management experience in a large organization, and desirable Native American government exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (Master’s Degree preferred) in public or business administration, financial management, political science, or related field.
• Ten (10) years of increasingly responsible experience in managing in a large organization.
• Supervisory/managerial experience with Native American government or enterprise is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall organization leadership and promotes the strategic vision of the Community Council.
• Plans and coordinates operation of departments; evaluates organizational issues and facilitates strategies to address issues and challenges.
• Mentors and supervises management staff, models professional problem-solving.
• Develops organization structure to support objectives and ensures clear assignments and communication.
• Prepares performance evaluations and monitors staffing and budgeting requirements.
