Greater Philadelphia Health Action, Inc. invites applications for a Full-time Patient Registration/Front Desk Representative. The role supports multiple Philadelphia-area health centers, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

You will conduct patient registrations, scheduling, and information updates in the Electronic Practice Management (EPM) system. Responsibilities include greeting patients, managing demographics and insurance data, coordinating appointments, and assisting staff.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to interact compassionately and effectively with patients.
• Knowledge of HMO/managed care preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of patient/provider scheduling modules required.

Responsabilidades

• Complete patient registration and scheduling in the EPM system.
• Ensure patients' demographic, financial, and insurance information is entered and updated accurately.
• Manage daily appointment schedules efficiently and review them regularly.
• Operate paging/telephone system; greet and direct patients, visitors, and sales reps professionally.
• Attend mandatory staff development sessions and staff meetings.
• Update patient demographics accurately and timely.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
