Qualifications

3 years of residential mortgage origination experience.
Ability to develop business in targeted market areas.
Extensive knowledge of all guidelines, laws, and regulations related to mortgage lending.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and other standard software applications.

Responsibilities

Originate conventional, FHA, VA, RD, and THDA residential loans based on guidelines.
Generate production volume based on assigned production goals.
Network with realtors, builders, attorneys, and CPAs to generate a referral base.
Develop mortgage loan business with new prospects.
Interview loan applicants and generate complete loan applications with necessary supporting documentation.
Monitor the loan process to facilitate timely closings.
Utilize sales and service strategies to retain existing relationships and enable growth of new relationships.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and networking.
