Job summary

South Carolina Department of Social Services is seeking an ES Eligibility Case Manager in the Economic Services division in Darlington County. The role handles SNAP, TANF, ESAP, and SCCAP applications and renewals, conducts eligibility interviews, and maintains client records in the agency system.

You will ensure compliance with laws, participate in required trainings, and help clients achieve financial stability through benefits administration and case management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; 1 year experience in Economic Services programs or related field.
• Associate degree or higher can substitute for required program experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle; field work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide services in accordance with laws, regulations, and agency policies for SNAP, ESAP, SCCAP, TANF.
• Conduct a minimum of 15 quality interviews per day (phone or in-person) for applications and renewals.
• Process SNAP/TANF/ESAP/SCCAP applications and renewals and determine eligibility.
• Maintain confidential case records in the designated system for documentation and auditing.
