Job summary

Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin is seeking a friendly Cashier to provide best-in-class service, handle transactions accurately, and help keep the sales floor organized. This role supports community programs and contributes to a positive shopping experience in Verona.

You will greet customers, process payments, promote the Round-Up program, assist with merchandising, and maintain a safe, clean environment. No prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Ability to ring sales on a cash register and use basic math to count money.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer questions to encourage repeat visits.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Promote the Round-Up program at each transaction to support community programs.
• Keep the sales floor fresh and stocked through merchandising and rotation of items.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe store environment following 5S and safety guidelines.
• Monitor fitting rooms and report theft as needed.
• Interact professionally with coworkers, shoppers, and donors.
