Job summary

Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin is hiring a Cashier to maximize store profitability through accurate register operation and exceptional customer service. This role supports merchandising, contributes to a positive shopping environment, and helps strengthen the community by promoting programs at every transaction.

The position requires ability to stand for extended periods, handle money, and communicate clearly. No prior experience is necessary; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to ring sales on a cash register and use basic math to count money.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide best in class service by greeting customers and inviting them to return.
• Process transactions accurately, professionally, and efficiently.
• Actively promotes the Round-Up program to help build skills in the community.
• Keep the sales floor fresh and full through merchandising and organization.
• Maintain neat, clean and safe environment following 5S principles and safety guidelines.
• Monitor fitting rooms and report any theft to Manager.
