Job summary

Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin is seeking a cashier to maximize store profitability through accurate register operation and outstanding customer service. You will help with efficient merchandising and live out our mission to strengthen communities.

You’ll greet shoppers, process transactions, promote community programs, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment while working with a friendly team committed to our core values.

Qualifications

• Ring sales on a cash register and use basic math.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide best-in-class service.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Promote the Round-Up program to support community programs.
• Keep the sales floor fresh and fully stocked through merchandising.
• Monitor fitting rooms and report theft to the Manager or AP.
• Maintain a neat, clean and safe environment following 5S principles.
• Interact professionally with coworkers, shoppers, and donors.
• Assist Asset Protection as needed and support production and rotation.
• Align all duties with Goodwill's core values.
