Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Prior work experience with low-income communities preferred.
  • Financial fitness counseling experience; commitment to taking a CUNY Personal Finance course as mandated by NYC’s Office of Financial Empowerment.
  • Self-starter with strong documentation and data entry skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial counseling to clients, including budget, savings, and action plans.
  • Conduct client intakes and individual counseling/education with confidentiality.
  • Coordinate group education and seminars using PowerPoint presentations.
  • Support program director/manager to ensure efficient delivery and data recording.
  • Lead outreach and marketing to the community regarding BronxWorks programs.
