Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years of full-time work experience in financial counseling/coaching.
  • Experience working with diverse partners, funders, and clients is preferred.
  • Spanish fluency is preferred (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Willingness to travel across the NYC metro area to client sites.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate in-person and virtual one-on-one financial counseling for New Yorkers with low-to-moderate income at partner sites.
  • Implement retention and engagement strategies to help clients reach financial goals.
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with staff and external partners to ensure program success.
  • Work with colleagues and service providers to deliver high-quality services.
  • Engage in outreach through workshops, presentations, and direct community outreach.
  • Expand access to financial counseling at partner sites across NYC and ensure data integrity across systems.
