Job summary

GTE Financial is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Community Financial Center in Sarasota, FL. The role focuses on leading daily operations, supervising a small team, and delivering exceptional member experiences.

You will conduct thorough financial assessments, recommend suitable products, and drive cross-functional partnerships with Mortgage, Business Services, Investments, and Insurance to grow member relationships.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a financial institution with at least 1 year of supervisory experience
• Knowledge of lending practices and credit bureau interpretation
• Qualify for or hold Level II lending authority as prescribed by GTE Financial

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day branch operations and lead a team of 3 FTE
• Coach and empower the sales team to meet objectives
• Generate member leads and drive cross-sell with internal partners
• Ensure a strong member experience through financial assessments and product recommendations
• Maintain compliance with Bank Secrecy Act and related laws
