Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Community Facilitator to empower youth through remote program delivery in the Free State region. You will design online workshops, mentor participants, and build partnerships with schools, NGOs, and community leaders to expand program reach.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organized workflow, and creative digital facilitation to help young people access education, training, and career opportunities from a remote setup.

Formación

• Qualification in Community Development, Social Work, Education, Youth Work, or related field.
• Experience facilitating youth programs or community engagement.
• Strong understanding of youth development principles.
• Excellent online facilitation and communication skills.
• Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Fluent English; Sesotho or Afrikaans beneficial.
• Reliable internet and home office setup.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and passionate Community Facilitator to drive youth empowerment initiatives, primarily serving the Free State province from a remote capacity. This role focuses on engaging young people, connecting them with educational and vocational opportunities, and fostering their personal and social development. You will design and deliver workshops, mentor youth, and build strong relationships within community structures, all managed remotely. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, highly organized, and deeply committed to youth development. • Proficiency in using virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams) and digital content creation tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote environment.
• Creative, energetic, and passionate about empowering young people.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A reliable internet connection and suitable home office setup are essential.
• Experience working with youth in the Free State is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Sesotho or Afrikaans is beneficial.
