Job summary

Apartment Life is seeking an Events and Ministry Coordinator (part-time) to execute the service plan for resident communities. The role partners with an onsite supervisor to schedule monthly events, workshops for adults and families, and welcoming new residents.

This role serves 1-2 communities (Irving, TX and Fort Worth, TX) with a $21/hour pay for 8–16 hours weekly, primarily afternoons/evenings/weekends. It includes planning 2–3 monthly events and coordinating resources and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's Degree or related experience in event planning, social impact, or human services.
• Excellent listening/communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to provide after-hours or weekend activities as needed.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements for the community and required reports.
• Possess a current driver's license and liability insurance, and access to reliable transportation to complete coordinator duties.

Responsibilities

• Work with corporate, government, and nonprofit partners to create programs that fit each community's needs.
• Organize and host educational workshops for adults and youth.
• Meet with residents to provide support and connect them with resources.
• Share information about rental, food, and other assistance programs.
• Ensure all activities run smoothly and meet goals.
• Communicate regularly with onsite staff and supervisor.
• Meet weekly with supervisor to review programs and goals.
• Submit monthly reports on activities and impact
