Apartment Life is seeking a part-time, paid Events and Ministry Coordinator to serve one apartment community in Austin, TX, on IH-35 South near Bluff Springs Estates. The role emphasizes planning and hosting 2–3 monthly events and workshops that promote engagement, wellness, health, enrichment, and stability.

You will connect residents with rental and local resources, partner with businesses and nonprofits, communicate with onsite staff, arrange vendors, and submit monthly activity reports.

Qualifications

• 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Bachelor’s degree or related experience in event planning, social impact, human services, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer and English writing skills.
• Availability for evening/weekend activities.
• Current driver’s license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to carry up to 25 pounds and perform required physical activities.
• Ability to commit to the required weekly hours and service term.

Responsibilities

• Develop programs based on community needs.
• Organize workshops and resident activities.
• Support residents and connect them with resources.
• Coordinate vendors and partners and ensure activities run smoothly.
• Meet weekly with the supervisor to review goals and programs.
